What’s up, all you hyper focused entrepreneurs? I want to share with you five daily non negotiables, daily activities that if you were to execute every day for the next year without missing a single day, I guarantee you will double your business, you will double your life satisfaction, you will reduce your stress in life, and you will be well on the way to maximizing your return on life. So here are five daily non negotiables. Number one, every single day, you should be reading at least ten pages. I prefer 30 minutes. Ten pages is kind of a weird amount, depending on the book. I sometimes read really big biographies. Ten pages will take forever. Sometimes I’m reading some really fluffy stuff, and ten pages is pretty quick.

So I like 30 minutes of reading every single day. Expand your mind. Be constantly learning and absorbing information. But not only that, the value of reading isn’t just in what you’re consuming. It’s the fact that reading requires you to sit down and focus for extended periods of time. And that is so hard in today’s world. I know this activity right here will help you develop deeper, meaningful focus that you can then apply to other areas of your life, other domains. So, number one, non negotiable read.

Number two, journal. I want you to write every single day. I think journaling is the highest leverage activity any entrepreneur can do for a number of reasons. It helps you gain clarity of thought. Your clarity of thought will then lead to clarity of judgment and improve your judgment. In an age of infinite leverage, judgment is the ultimate skill. Right. So anything that we can do to improve that in a very real way, I’m not joking when I say this, is that writing is thought made physical.

Most of the time, we don’t actually know what we think on a topic because our minds are just this chaotic jumble that we’re casually or shallowly jumping from lily pad to lily pad of thought. We’re never going very deep because our chaotic monkey mind is like thinking about tacos and then thinking about the employee compensation plan. And then it’s thinking about what the project is that you want to run it next week. And then you’re wondering, why does your toe hurt? Like, your mind is constantly just bopping between things. Writing is taking that monkey mind and forcing it, rather than going broad and shallow, forcing it to go narrow and deep on a particular topic. And this is where you gain some really deep insights about what it is that you actually think on things. Now, my preferred method of journaling, because a lot of people ask, like, okay, I want to get into journaling but what do I write about? Well, three questions I recommend answering every single morning. Write one page answers for each of these questions, and you’ll be doing pretty good.

Number one, what went well yesterday? Journal on what went well yesterday. Number two, ask yourself, what could you have done better yesterday? Just reflect where were the areas for improvement? That one’s probably. You could probably fill up more than one page with that one, but, you know, limit yourself to the most, the biggest things that you could have improved. Number three, what would it look like to win today? A lot of people go through life not knowing what it looks like to win today, and so they always feel as though they’re losing. Right. So what could you do today that would make it a win? And this ties into our third daily non negotiable. It ties into that third question is to very clearly write down in your daily to do list, like I’m holding up on the screen right there is to write down, what would it take to win today? I want you to mark the field. Explain very clearly.

I need to do this, this, and this. If I get these three things done, it will be a win, regardless of what else I get done. I just need to focus on this, set the rules, and mark it. And then you’re gonna end your day with momentum, feeling as though you actually progressed, rather than looking at your endless to do list and feeling as though you didn’t actually make any meaningful progress because you only got half the list done. But the thing with to do list is like, I’ve never met anybody who’s ever completed a to do list. It’s impossible. It’s a hydra. You cut one head, three more sprout up.

So, clearly mark, what’s it look like to win the day? All right, so we’ve read, we’ve journaled, and we’ve. We’ve marked. What’s it mean to win the day? The fourth daily, non negotiable, is to sweat, get sweaty, get up, and move. Movement has magic in it, in your body. You are a biological creature, right? So much of life is a manifestation of how you feel in the moment, physically. Right? If you think about your health as a table, everything else rests upon that table. You have your relationships, you have your business, you have everything just sits on that table of your health. And when you pull that table out, if the table is wobbly and broken and you lose your health, everything falls to the floor.

Your health is the only thing that matters. So make time every single day to get sweaty, to go move, and it’s magical how that will spawn more energy, which will then translate itself into meaningful progress in your day to day activities as you’re building your business and moving towards your goals. Finally, last but not least, the fifth non negotiable for maximizing your return on life and in business is daily outreach. I want you to reach out every single day to three people that you know, friends and family, people that you just want to express some love for. Say I miss you, I was thinking about you. Reach out to three people in your network that you already know that you love and that you want to keep that relationship going with. And then reach out to five strangers every single day, figuring out whether that’s on social media or through your email list or what way that you have. Reach out to five strangers and start a conversation with them that could potentially lead to you making an offer about your business and service.

If you do these two outreaches to your friends and your family, and then to strangers, you’re going to have one more business than you could ever handle. Guarantee you’re going to double your business really quickly with just those five outreaches. Every single day, you’re going to have deeper relationships with the people in your life that actually matter, because everybody wants to have great relationships, but it takes so much time and energy, and life just has a way of getting in the way, right? So if you can be the catalyst, the person who’s reaching out and connecting your friends, your family, and constantly being the one that’s showing up for them, they will. They will appreciate it. And I promise you that your life will flourish as a result. So those are the five daily non negotiables. Please commit to these every day. Read journal, win the day, sweat and outreach.
