Success is often nothing more than the stacking of tiny daily wins over a long enough period of time that the stack of wins and failures being littered within there is now so large that you can just walk atop it and reach your goal. That is, I think one of the most beautiful frameworks for thinking through achieving your goals is to stack wins and stack failures over and over and over these tiny ones every single day into a ladder you can climb. And if I were to try to dilute back down to the first principles, the fundamentals of what are the wins that I should be stacking every single day? Here are three categories I would encourage you to think through. Number one, what is the mental win you can stack today? Your mindset is the lens through which you see the world. If it is cracked, if it’s scuzzy, like a car driving down a dusty, rainy road in the middle of the night, if you can’t see out the windshield, is going to affect how quickly you can drive towards your goals. Yes. So the first thing we want to work on daily is our mindset. Because your thoughts become your actions, which drive your results.

And so we need to start with our thoughts, with our beliefs every single day. Ask yourself, could be the win that I stack mentally to become a more resilient, a more grateful, a more focused, a more open, a more creative, more curious individual? What are the what? What is that work that you could do today to expand your mindset? That’s the first one I would encourage you to seek on a daily basis. The second one is your health. Your physical health. Your body is the vehicle carrying you through this life. It is precious. It’s the only one you get. Until the robot overlords come and give us the option of replacing ourselves with, you know, that Ford Fiesta chassis, you are stuck with this thing, so take care of it.

What is that small win that you could stack today? My favorite small win when it comes to your physical health, well, there’s a couple, but my favorite is just getting 6000 steps outside every single day. Get outside in the sunlight and take 6000 steps every single day. There’s a lot of research that suggests people who get more than 5700 steps every single day have more gratitude, more positive energy, more, less prevalence of anxiety, of stress, all sorts of positive emotions that simply come by just getting outside and taking more steps. So that’s the next when I would encourage you to think about stacking every day is your health. Now, the steps, that’s the basic. If you want to get the advanced, you got to get into the gym and work out every day, 30, 45 minutes. You got to get sweaty. You got to get that heart rate up.
You got to work those muscles, get big, get strong. Work on your cardio every single day. Stack that win for the next 40 years. Trust me, you’ll be grateful. The last win, I would encourage you to think about stacking every single day is your wealth win. What is the wealth win that you can make today? What could you do to increase your net worth today? To bring more value to the world, to bring in more money or to cut your expenses? What could you do to increase your high score in the money game? And I know money isn’t the only thing that matters, but it can solve a whole lot of your problems, specifically your money problems. And the money game doesn’t win itself by chance in the same way that your mental health, your physical health, those aren’t going to solve themselves without intentional effort. Your wealth is the same way.

You need to take it seriously if you do, in fact, want to win that game. And I’m telling you, life is a whole lot better when you’re not losing the money game. So what is that activity every single day that you could be doing to stack another small win in the wealth game category? So those are the three areas. Think about those. What could you do today to win your, your mental health, your physical health, and your financial health? You do those three things for the next thousand days. 1000 days is just around three years. Your life could transform. And I know this from personal experience, because I’ve seen what just three years of consistent daily right action can yield.
