You. What’s up, everybody? This is just a friendly reminder, more for myself than it is for you. But my guess is if you’re watching this, then you might also benefit from this reminder, which is that you don’t need more advice, you need more action. So if you’re listening to this podcast, which I definitely greatly appreciate, you are awesome for being here. It truly means the world to me. However, understand that listening to me right now and hoping that there might be some form of advice or some insight that might be able to help you in your business or in your life is not actually doing the thing. It is not actually making your life better. You are in information collecting mode right now.
Anthony Vicino:
You are feeding your curiosity. You are collecting dots. However, you cannot change your life by collecting dots. It’s only by connecting the dots that you change your life. And so I bring this up because, one, I am guilty of over consuming and undercreating. I take in too much information and I do not apply it. And number two, I’m constantly on the lookout for that new shiny thing or thinking that there’s a chance that there’s some framework, some magical silver bullet that if I could just find it, that might be at the other end of this one podcast, then it could change everything. But the truth is, you probably know everything you already need to know.
Anthony Vicino:
You’re just not executing it. And so I challenge you to reflect right now, what is that next most important thing that you need to be doing? What is that action, that work, that needs to get done that you are not doing by default, by extension of the fact that you’re here listening, which, again, I appreciate, and there is a time and a place for that. However, I want you to do it with intention, and I want you to be connecting dots as frequently as you collect them. And in my life, I have been guilty far too often of feeding my curiosity and not flexing my creativity nearly enough. And so I share that with you so that you probably already know everything that you need to know. It’s never been a lack of information that’s held me back in life. It’s a lack of execution. And so this is just a short, quick hitting, motivational, inspirational punch to the gut.
Anthony Vicino:
A reminder more for me than it is for you that you were put on this planet to create. And I can’t wait to see what you do with it. So that’s going to do it for me, guys. I’ll catch back around these parts tomorrow, but until then, stay hyper focused, everybody.
